ES Este es un trabajo de remasterización visual del álbum de Halsey "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power". Una propuesta llevada a cabo con mi equipo de fotógrafos, quienes supieron representar de excelente manera el concepto de la dicotomia entre la virgen y la puta a través de la fotografia. Mi objetivo como diseñador, fue el de profundizar en este concepto explorando diversas maneras de exponer fotografías tan impactantes y con tanto poder.
Definimos un concepto creativo que buscaba representar las dos facetas de la virgen y la prostituta: una en la portada y la otra en la contraportada del álbum. Este enfoque se complementó con la elección de tipografías elegantes y modernas, que si bien son contemporáneas, evocan sutilmente el período renacentista. Decidí minimizar el uso de texturas complejas para no restarle fuerza a las imágenes, optando por un enfoque minimalista que permitiera a las fotografías mantener su poder expresivo. Este enfoque se reflejó en la colocación estratégica de tipografías que aseguraban una lectura coherente y potenciaban el impacto visual.
EN This is a visual remastering project of Halsey's album "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power." A proposal carried out with my team of photographers, who skillfully represented the concept of the dichotomy between the virgin and the whore through photography. My goal as a designer was to delve into this concept by exploring various ways to showcase such impactful and powerful photographs.
We defined a creative concept that aimed to represent the two facets of the virgin and the prostitute: one on the front cover and the other on the back cover of the album. This approach was complemented by the choice of elegant and modern typography, which, while contemporary, subtly evokes the Renaissance period. I decided to minimize the use of complex textures to not diminish the strength of the images, opting for a minimalist approach that allowed the photographs to maintain their expressive power. This approach was reflected in the strategic placement of typography that ensured coherent reading and enhanced visual impact.
